Rainy Fall Days...and a trip to Port Townsend

I just recently took a weekend trip with some ladies I've been friends with for many years from my knitting class.

We had planned for a couple months to get all of us together and go somewhere fun since our last retreat destination isn't available any longer.  We chose Port Townsend, after friend Amy, and I had been last summer.

It was a fabulous idea, and by the time we went, we were down to 4, but that was fine, we had a super time.

We stopped along the way at a Lamp Museum, then made our way into town. It was stormy and blustering but we all had umbrellas and Undertown had awesome espresso to keep us warm and moving.

We once again stayed at Waterstreet Hotel, a cool retro hotel overlooking the water.
We ventured through book stores, game/joke stores, knitting shops and I hit a great incense shop too.  It was a super weekend and I can't wait to go again. Wish I could squeeze another trip in before the holidays but I don't think that will happen. Time just isn't on my side here.

A little slow, but finally!

I'm a year out or so from my last post, all things come slowly for me I guess.  Never rushing, ha!

It's been an eventful 8 months or so, with the last summer's new pal Clyde the cat, and my sweet Penelope, my new little golden rescue, I've had my hands full.

Between training Penny, working and trying to just keep up with life in general, I've fallen behind in my blog posts so just a few pics of my new furry family.

These guys can keep a girl seriously busy, daily!
